Empowering Young Entertainers is excited to feature Alex Lucas, make-up artist extraordinaire at our More than Meets the EYE webinar March 6, 2021! Alex has traveled the world and his work has appeared in television, music, pageantry, and runway shows. He worked at the world-renowned Fashion Week New York, one of the four major fashion weeks in the world. He created his signature look for award-winning artists such as Toni Braxton, Eric Benet, and singer-songwriter John Legend. Alex was a key make-up artist for the Braxton Family Values, Divorce Court, BET’s Boomerang & Sunday’s Best, Tyler Perry’s Haves and the Have Nots, The Oval & Sistas, and Critics’ Choice Best Horror Series; Lovecraft Country. You have seen his work on the covers of HypeHair, Sister 2 Sister, and Jet magazine. Alex doesn’t only work in the fashion and entertainment industries; he has extended his craft to corporate clients such as Home Depot and American Express online.
