Washington Place Apartments, is looking for candidates to fill a General Laborer/Light Maintenance position. There is plenty of opportunity to learn the Maintenance trade while working along side our well-trained staff at this property. The current job description includes but is not limited to the following: • Daily grounds pick up in all outside areas, which includes maintain a neat area around all outside dumpsters. Inside trash pick up includes the club house, fitness room and various public restrooms on site. • Assist Maintenance with heavy trash disposal in turnover apartments. Light maintenance may include basic plumbing and electrical. • May be required to dismantle and dispose of various structures at the property. • Outside grounds maintenance may include blowing/raking leaves, spraying weeds, snow removal and salt spreading, pool maintenance, cleaning gutters, and digging holes or trenches as needed for various purposes. • May be required to operate small power tools. Candidates should be able to lift 50-100 lbs. Able to climb stairs and ladders. Working conditions include exposure to weather. May be required to have a vehicle.
