Please apply. Hope you can join our team! Join us at Willowcrest Stables for a satisfying day's work. Interact with horses of all types. Job includes: 1) Clean and fill water troughs; 2) Feed horses (hay and grain): 3) Pick (muck) indoor and outdoor stalls and pastures of manure; 4) Use horse halter to move horses individually to pasture in morning and back to stalls in late afternoon; 5) General ranch work; 6) Maintenance tasks and other duties, as required. Interact with boarders and great staff. Learn new skills. Having experience handling horses is a plus, but not required. Currently, emphasis on weekend help. However, various 3 to 5 day shifts may be available, including weekends (Fri, Sat and Sun) and 5 days Mon thru Fri schedules. Work hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Be prepared to work holidays. You are required to provide your own transportation and be to work on time. Essential job functions include: 1) Working and walking outdoors (all types of weather); 2) Periodic lifting and moving up to 90 pound hay bales by hand; 3) Daily horse turn-out & turn-in; 4) Mucking & raking stalls with rake & pick fork; 5) Moving and dumping manure cart; 6) Periodic use of power equipment, driving utility vehicle and other moving equipment, as assigned and trained.
