Morkies! Am I the only one that got burned?

On Jan 15, 2021 I answered an ad here from a guy with morkies that were supposed to be ready on feb 12. I was looking for a small dog for my disabled mom, and after talking back and forth with this guy via text, I was pretty confident that he wasn’t a scammer, and I gave him a 200.00 deposit (yes. I’m apparently a moron) He said his name was Mark, and he was advertising 3 or 4 puppies. I’m just curious as to whether I’m the only moron in East Tennessee that fell for this scam. I’ve reported it to the app that I made the payment in as fraud, and I’m HOPING something happens and I maybe get my money back....but it’s doubtful. Anyone else?
