The Standards for Mathematical Practice are calling for students to do the reasoning and problem-solving as they make sense of mathematical ideas. This also implies that students need to be talking to each other, not just to the teacher.
In this 2-day, action-packed workshop, teachers will be exploring several resources, routines and research-based teaching practices that will support mathematical reasoning and argumentation on a daily basis.
One credit will be available upon completion of the workshop for $50.
Participants should bring their own lunch.
