We are delighted to welcome members of the public to the Basilica for Mass and the Distribution of Ashes. Due to the restrictions of the government of the District of Columbia, we are required to limit Mass attendance to 250 people. Please make sure you reserve the correct number of seats for the number of people in your party. We are only able to seat those who are listed on the reservation and are in possession of a ticket. Visitor Guidelines for EntryAll visitors must wear a face covering at all times, except as directed for the reception of Holy Communion.Entry into the Basilica will be through the front lower level East Entrance (Gift Shop side facing Michigan Avenue).Upon entry, all visitors must have their temperatures scanned via a non-contact infrared thermometer administered by Basilica personnel. For the health, safety and welfare of all, any visitors exhibiting symptoms of illness and/or a temperature above 100.3 degrees Fahrenheit will not be permitted to enter the Basilica.Upon entry to the Basilica, all visitors must sanitize their hands with hand sanitizer provided to them.Visitors must maintain a social distance of 6 feet from others, visit designated areas only, abide by all signage, and follow the direction of Basilica personnel for the health, safety and welfare of all.
