We’re open, and we’re hiring. 40 hours/week – we’re hoping you do well and move into a full-time year-round position with us. Distribution Center (Warehouse) Work Becker’s has been in business for 92 years, and employees stay with us for long careers. We hardly ever have an opening. We have one employee who just graduated trade school and is ready for a career change, so we have a rare job opening. We will hire one person, and, if he or she performs well, a full-time year-round position will be available. Do you take pride in your work and are fast and careful? Are you reliable and can show up on time and every day? Do you wish you could get a full-time job but don’t have a college degree? Can you handle being on your feet all day and still maintain a positive attitude? Can you do basic math? Do you live in or near Pennsauken and would like a short commute to work each day? If so, we have your job! 40 hours/week. Monday through Friday. 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Pay is $13.25/hour to start with possibility of future raises and bonuses, depending on your job performance. You will not be bored on the job. Our distribution center workers:  Retrieve customer orders and locate, scan, and pick items.  Enter information on forms and into computers.  Check accuracy of orders.  Verify, scan, and pack items for shipment.  Build skids and load trucks.  Gather and crush cardboard.  Verify and receive shipments of merchandise and report discrepancies.  Restock shelves.  Type and print labels and fill bags with selected products and seal and sort them.  Assemble products and communicate issues and progress.
