This department focuses on designing, installing and caring for specialty gardens, courtyard gardens, large perennial landscapes, and container gardens throughout the Boston area. Strongest applicant will have strong design esthetic, strong knowledge of annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs, and a thorough understanding of proper horticultural practices and should be knowledgeable in all aspects of organic plant care. PRUNERS Experienced Pruners with 3+ years of experience to work in our Maintenance Department. We are looking for professionals proficient in the art and science of hand pruning to maintain and our installations. Knowledge of Japanese style pruning techniques a plus. Must have a good working knowledge of horticulture, plant identification, tree care, and general landscaping. CREW MEMBERS Landscape Crew Members with experience in landscape construction, planting, basic maintenance, general pruning, general landscaping, and knowledge of plant material should apply. Plow and Snow removal experience a plus. LAWN MOWING TEAM Experienced lawn maintenance team members are needed. Must be proficient with all aspects of lawn maintenance including working knowledge of, deck mowers, walk behinds, line trimmers, aerators, and slice seeders. Knowledge of fertilization techniques is a plus. LANDSCAPE TECHNICIAN We are looking for a special candidate with a variety of landscape maintenance skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in irrigation, and water feature installation, maintenance and repair. We are looking for an experienced technician who can help oversee and troubleshoot the specialized issues that these systems create.
