Clean Crop Technologies, Inc. is a VC-backed agtech startup building the next generation of food preservation and treatment technologies based on our proprietary cold plasma technology platform. We are seeking a hands-on Fabrication and Workshop Associate to join our team! Under the direction of the Operations Manager and management team, the associate will be responsible for general upkeep of workspaces, material inventories as well as provide fabrication and building support to the engineering staff. This is an exciting opportunity to come in on the ground floor and help innovate in a fast-paced environment. The selected individual will work in a team environment that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Job Location: Haydenville, MA / Holyoke, MA Position: Part-Time, hourly (flex-scheduling) Compensation: $13.50-16.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Responsibilities: • Support the mechanical engineering and process engineering teams with various material fabrication and handling projects. • Manage parts and material inventories for workshop, R&D facilities and wetlab. • Daily upkeep of facilities – Basic work site management and maintenance of all tools and equipment • Provide support to operations manager for various tasks such as material procurements, mailing and parcel deliveries • Ensure all facilities meet company protocols for worker safety and quality control during prototype design and builds • Manage daily log books of activities, tasks and pending procurements from operational staff Qualifications: • Currently enrolled or recent graduate of an accredited high-school (Diploma or GED accepted) • Experience in skilled trades preferred (Carpentry, residential/comm electric, plumbing, etc) • Hard working, ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast pace work environment • Any bookkeeping or general organization experience also preferred.
