Corbett Industrial Cleaning Services, Inc (CICS) seeks a motivated team player with leadership skills and field experience. The Field Operations Supervisor (FOS) will work with crew and project manager on industrial & environmental maintenance work. FOS is responsible for oversight, management and coordination of site work, and ensuring safe work habits are followed. This is a visible position which requires clear and succinct organization and communication with clients, managers, team members, and other parties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include: • Field Supervisors will supervise / direct while working with the crew on the job of the day. This includes: o materials prep organization o closing organization o leading on customer support o planning of jobs for existing customers Types of jobs to be supervised includes, but is not limited to, vacuum excavation, line jetting, spill remediation, contamination removal, filtration system changeouts, confined space entry work and scheduled facility maintenance. • Regular communication with PM and / or office about unforeseen changes on site and reporting or planning for the next day’s work is an integral part of this job. • FOS is responsible for and will participate in all phases of set up and closing organization, including specification sheets / vendor notes / and equipment work. • The field supervisor uses a variety of construction tools, small machinery and heavy machinery to complete work, including, but not limited to, hand tools, pressure washers, air compressors, jackhammers and vacuum tracks. Also assists operators of vacuum combination trucks. • The field supervisor wears safety equipment when required including Tyvek suits, rubber boots, safety gloves and respirators with aqua pressure tanks. Uses harnesses and tie-offs when required. • This position is active and physical. • FOS Reports project site time, daily notes & inventory • FOS manages field service crews in a safe and compliant manner according to H&S requirements daily compliance of DOT / DEC / OSHA / & scope and budget • Provides proactive solutions for better workflow to supervisor / management • Option to engage in off peak sales and job estimates Minimum Education / Work Experience: • College degree preferred; HS required. Degree in related field is a plus. • Proven work experience in operations & site management • CDL is a plus. Confined space / necessary OSHA training is required. Essential Capabilities: • Strong supervision, leadership, and interpersonal skills • Excels at motivating team members and representing CICS • Facilitate cooperation and mutual support in the field • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel & Dropbox • Strong communications skills (written, oral, electronic & listening) • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently CICS is a growing company that provides diverse solutions to municipalities and private facilities including maintenance, mitigation and cleaning services for manufacturers, landfills and filtration systems.
