READING, MA — The town will hold its first COVID-19 vaccination clinic for people age 75 and older Friday, Feb. 12. The clinic is available to Reading residents only.
It will be held at the Pleasant Street Center, 49 Pleasant St., from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will have a maximum capacity of 100 registered residents.
Appointments are required and must be made online through this state link: https://www.maimmunizations.org//clinic/private_registration/8b349275-d0db-4ac5-8208-1a7c8753acd5. Those requiring assistance booking appointments online should call 2-1-1.
Insurance information will be required at the time of booking the appointment. Vaccinations will be administered by town/school nurses and paramedics.
Appointments are limited, and officials anticipate they will fill up quickly. The town plans to provide weekly Friday clinics.
