Virtual Galentines Day Tea Saturday At Dumbarton House

GEORGETOWN, DC — Dumbarton House will be hosting a virtual Galentines Day Tea Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The virtual tea includes learning how to make tea sandwiches along with a short lecture about friendship in the federal period, conversation starters and craft instruction. The craft will be a garland made of upcycled paper hearts. A supply list will be sent out for the craft or participants can purchase a pre-made craft kit to be picked up at Dumbarton House or mail delivery. Tea boxes also will be available for picking up at Dumbarton House. Tea boxes include tea bags, scones from Bread Furst, jam from JackiCan Fresh Fruit Jams, macarons from The Sweet Lobby and an assortment of fruit. Picking up tea boxes and craft kits will be scheduled for Friday. Register for the event here.
