FOXBOROUGH, MA — If you're thinking about running for office in Foxborough, you have until March 15 to take out and return nomination papers for the May 4 town election, according to the town clerk's office. So far, nine people have declared an interest in running for town wide office. So far, one candidate for Board of Selectmen has taken out nomination papers to run, Robert Palie. Both Selectmen members Christopher Mitchel and Leah Gibson's terms expire in 2021, and though neither have taken out nomination papers as of Feb. 11, there's still plenty of time for the candidates to signal their intent to run for another three-year term. Candidates have also taken out nomination papers to run for the School Committee, Board of Health, Board of Assessors, Housing Authority and Planning Board.
