NAUGATUCK, CT - The members of The Healy Foundation are encouraging college juniors and seniors to apply for The James P. and Debra Fitzgerald Healy Foundation Scholarship for the 2021-2022 academic year by visiting the website at www.healyfoundation.org. Applications are due by May 1, 2021. Last year the Foundation named 11 students from 10 universities in eight states as Healy Scholars. The Foundation, established in 2010, by the ten children of the late Jim Healy and his wife, Debra, supports college juniors and seniors who experience an unexpected financial challenge. The Foundation also continues to mentor Healy Scholars as they embark on their professional careers. Many of the Healy Scholars become active participants in the mission of The Healy Foundation and continue to support Jim and Debra's belief in educatiThe Healy Foundation application for Fall 2021 is now available!! We award scholarships to high-achieving college juniors or seniors of financial need facing unexpected hardships, such as losing a family member or parental job loss, that threaten to derail their future.
