Join the UCM for a fun and faithful Mardi Gras celebration featuring games, prizes, Popeyes Fried Chicken, donuts, and friends! Mardi Gras (also known as Fat Tuesday/Shrove Tuesday) has its roots as a celebration in the Christian calendar! This event is a time to celebrate and enjoy foods before Ash Wednesday starts the 40-day season of Lent which centers on repentance and self-denial following Jesus to the cross and on toward Easter. Come enjoy a wonderful time at Mardi Gras Tuesday, then come back the next night for Ash Wednesday worship at the UCM. This is a LIMITED ATTENDENCE event required tickets. Masks and social distancing are required. For your health and the wellness of others, two brief screening questions will be ask when you arrive. Your ticket will make sure you can join the fun as well as speed you through the check-in process.
