ARAPAHOE COUNTY, CO — The number of stores and restaurants reporting outbreaks in Denver's metro area has declined over the past several weeks, according to state public health data. Colorado stores and restaurants have strict cleaning procedures and coronavirus safety measures in place; however, many are still dealing with ongoing outbreaks due to the number of people who shop in person each week. Some outbreaks have lasted for several months since they were first detected. If you're concerned about contracting the virus and delivery or takeout services aren't an option for you, washing your hands as frequently as possible, social distancing and wearing a mask will go a long way in protecting you, health officials said.
