DENVER, CO — The number of stores and restaurants reporting outbreaks in Denver's metro area has declined over the past several weeks, according to state public health data.
Colorado stores and restaurants have strict cleaning procedures and coronavirus safety measures in place; however, many businesses are dealing with ongoing outbreaks, some of which have lasted months since they were first detected.
If you're concerned about contracting the virus and delivery or takeout services aren't an option for you, washing your hands as frequently as possible, social distancing and wearing a mask will go a long way in protecting you, health officials said.
Also, try to shop at a time when you aren't in a rush — it may take longer to get around while you're trying to stay as far away from others as possible.
