NORTHPORT, NY— Robke's Italian restaurant in Northport is back in business: the liquor business, that is. The no-reservations spot had its liquor license suspended in January after the New York State liquor authority observed what they said were repeated violations of COVID-19 health rules. Robke's announced the reinstatement on Facebook on Monday afternoon: "Our liquor license just arrived. Let's drink!" On both December 9 and January 24, state inspectors witnessed staff not wearing face masks, a lack of physical distancing between tables and patrons at the bar, food being served after 10 p.m. and tables not distanced six feet apart.
