NEW YORK CITY — An off-duty FDNY dispatcher was arrested in a child pornography investigation, authorities said. Joseph Perrone, 59, faces multiple felony counts of possessing and promoting child pornography, according to court records. The accusations themselves began with an August incident, court records state. NYPD officers served a search warrant on Perrone's home and found videos with girls as young as 8, the New York Post first reported. Cops arrested Perrone on Wednesday and booked him at Staten Island's 122th Precinct. Perrone is scheduled for an arraignment on Thursday. He'll be suspended without pay once the hearing concludes, the Post first reported.
