**shift being 6 pm - 2:30 am pay rate $18/hr - $22/hr.** About our company: PREVENT is America's premier provider of Healthcare Fire Barrier Management, including: Firestopping, Fire Damper Inspection and repair, Fire Door inspection and repair, Air Duct / Kitchen Hood cleaning and more. We are currently looking for hard working Field Technicians and Laborers to join our team. You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining Fire barriers and life safety equipment within the healthcare environment. We are proud serve a majority of the Bay Area’s Healthcare systems. To do well in this role you should be physically fit, reliable, and be a hard worker. Responsibilities: ****shift being 6 pm - 2:30 am · Work within a Team to accomplish tasks · Communicate with Team LEAD · Working from Ladders above ceiling · Working in tight places · Cleaning of Various components (Kitchen Hood Exhaust systems, Air Handlers, HVAC systems) · Fire caulking of penetrations and gaps · Loading/unloading and transportation of materials and tools · Maintaining clean work areas · Must be available to work various shifts, including nights and weekends · Ability to commute from job to job (within the greater Bay Area) · Not afraid to get a little dirty · Ability to take direction and follow it · Represent PREVENT at a high level · Must possess a great attitude!! Laborer Requirements: · Must have a valid Driver's License and pass a background check · Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks · Construction/Minor Electrical or Plumbing background preferred · Must be reliable and punctual with a professional appearance · Be at least 18 years of age · Honest and trustworthy · Good work ethic Preferred But Not Required Skills: Basic computer skills Related certifications and / or experience HVAC Experience Job Type: Full-time Job Location: Bay Area and Surrounding Areas.
