Press release from the Town of Bel Air: Posted on: February 10, 2021 Posted on: February 10, 2021 Public Hearing to Consider Four Ordinances NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Pursuant to Article 3, Section 308 of the Charter of the Town of Bel Air, the Bel Air Board of Town Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 1, 2021, to consider Ordinance 798-21, an ordinance rescinding and re-enacting Chapter 145, Building Construction, Ordinance 799-21, an ordinance rescinding and re-enacting Chapter 353, Plumbing and Gas Fitting Standards, Ordinance 800-21, an ordinance rescinding and re-enacting Chapter 180, Electrical Standards, and Ordinance 801-21, Chapter 204, Fire Prevention. This legislation will update the Town Code to the most current National and International Building and Life Safety Standards. To abide by social distancing rules, due to the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, the Public Hearing scheduled for Monday, March 1, 2021, at 7:30 P.M. will be via teleconference.
