Press release from the Waukee Community School District: February 10, 2021 Earlier this school year we connected with Woodland Hills Counselor Jes Young about important topics of conversation in our buildings. We are catching up with Jes Young again this week to learn how her team is continuing to help students and families. "Everybody is facing something we've never faced before," says Young. It's been incredible and inspiring to see how everyone is coming together this year." Young adds that anxiety is a topic of conversation happening in her office. "Anxiety happens and it's OK to feel it and figure out ways we can support one another to work through it," says Young.
