Locally owned landscape company, Soil Seekers Landscape, looking for a landscape construction crew member. This is not an entry level position! APPLICANT MUST HAVE A CA DRIVER'S LICENSE AND A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD. Looking for highly qualified individual who wants to be part of a professional team. The ideal applicant will have: Construction experience: - skilled with circular saws/fastening/general carpentry/fence construction - general form setting/layout for concrete patios and walkways - concrete finishing - screeding/floating/troweling - general understanding of job site organization/safety Communication skills: - clarity with verbal communication: eye contact, detailed description, etc - absolutely needs to work well with others and be a team player! Landscape experience: - ability to recognize and establish grade elevations - general irrigation knowledge: lawn and drip irrigation systems - general pruning experience - general plant/tree identification General requirements include: - ability to move materials (i.e. wheelbarrow throughout an 8-9 hour day). - landscape construction requires strength and endurance - be project oriented for efficiency and quality with an eye for detail - professional appearance and attitude Preferable skills, but not required: - Stone laying experience: flat work, vertical facing, cutting/fabrication of stone - Trailer experience - Heavy equipment experience Additional details: - This is a full-time position: 40-45 hours/week with overtime - 5 paid sick days/year - 5 paid vacation days/year after 6 months of employment - $1 raise after 90 days probationary period - 3% 401k match after 6 months of employment Email resume with subject line: Landscape Construction Crew Member.
