Earlier applications may be given preference. Wild Abundance is a school that teaches skills for living with the earth. We're located near Barnardsville, NC (about 25 minutes north of Asheville). You can learn more about us by visiting our website at www.wildabundance.net. We teach women's carpentry classes, tiny house classes, permaculture classes, and several others. This position is to be the Personal Assistant and Chaos Manager for Wild Abundance's director, Natalie Bogwalker, who lives and works on campus. It is best if the applicant lives relatively close to the Wild Abundance campus at 65 Sanford Way, Weaverville NC, (actually closer to Barnardsville) as there will be occasional tasks that will take a relatively short time. This job is part-time contract position (8-14 hours/ week, Mid-March- November, with some possibility of continuing into the winter) and requires a flexible schedule. Some of these tasks need to be completed within a specified time window, but that schedule may change from week to week, and is not consistent (i.e. some but not all Wednesdays, some but not all Mondays, etc.).
