Palm Springs Half Day Hike with the Best Views

This is considered on of the most beautiful & scenic hikes in the Greater Palm Springs area. There are many incredible viewpoints throughout Hi I'm Carlos, a hiking tour guide in the Palm Springs area. This is my personal favorite hike for all the incredible views throughout the hike. I provide water, a snack, a backpack & a hiking pole for each hiker, all sanitized for your safety. This hiking tour is approx 5 hours including time to stop to take pics and breaks. We'll hike some of the best, most scenic trails in not only Palm Springs, but in all the Coachella Valley. There are many amazing viewpoints throughout. It's surprising that one of the best views in Palm Springs, a city that sits next to a mountain that's nearly 11,000 feet can be seen from a hill of only 2,220 feet. Murray Hill offers spectacular views of Palm Springs, the Coachella Valley and the surrounding mtns but is also a challenging hike considering it's modest height. Once at the top of Murray Hill we'll have lunch & you'll enjoy stunning 360 degree views, perfect for beautiful scenic photos. We'll see the windmills, the Little San Bernardino Mountains, Joshua Tree National Park all to the north, the San Jacinto Mountains to the west, Mt. San Gorgonio (the tallest mtn in Southern Cali at 11,503 ft) We'll also see Indian Canyons, ancestral home of the Agua Caliente Cahuilla Indians that settled here 5000 years ago. You'll also have a birds eye view of many of the communities that make up the Coachella Valley. If you want to do this hike you should have at least a moderate fitness level cause we'll have an elevation gain/loss of about 2,000 feet & the duration is approximately 5 hours. Sections of the trails are rough & uneven. If you want to do this hike on a different date or time contact me. Please wear shoes with a sturdy sole & good tread, bring a small meal like a sandwich & some fruit so we can have lunch at the top of Murray Hill before we head back down. Dress for the weather forecast, so you'll be comfortable. Also bring your face mask. All photos are from this hike taken at different times.
