Job Description: Ferguson cabinet division, Kitchen Art, is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an Installation Service Technician. If you have a love of meeting people and providing great customer service coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion-dollar organization, this is the position for you! Service Technician is responsible for performing final punch out prior to client turnover, as well as miscellaneous punch work throughout the construction. Daily tasks include but are not limited to touch-up, adjustment, and light installation of cabinet components. Additionally, the position will be responsible for the receiving and delivery of service parts. Will work closely with the office to perform warranty work after closing. Specific Duties General punch of homes; i.e. adjustments, touch-up, parts installation. Receiving and delivery of service parts. Updating our in-house system with receipts and fulfillments of parts. Warranty punch and service of closed homes. Initiates orders for service or warranty parts if necessary. Qualifications Prior experience in installation and service within our industry is preferred. A successful Cabinet Installation Service Technician will possess the following: Prior experience in the field of cabinet installation Experience with carpentry Proficiency in cabinet touch-up, repair and attention to detail. Ability to use hand tools. Familiarity with our products Good communication skills Problem solving and listening skills Organizational and time management skills The ability to deal with a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledge Ability to lift 90+ pound objects frequently and 50+ pound objects occasionally Driver’s license with clean driving record. Working knowledge of Windows operating system, Microsoft Office and web-based data systems.
