Spartanburg & Cherokee County 4-H are offering two spring kit options: Caterpillar to butterfly and a home gardening kit. Open youth 5-18. Caterpillar to Butterfly Kits $35 The kit includes 5 live caterpillars, butterfly habitat, water mister, butterfly feeder, sugar, sugar water dropper, coloring page, and instructions. Kits will also come with a butterfly garden starter and metamorphosis craft. Kits are intended for one per family. Home Gardening Kit $25 The kit includes 10 types of seeds, germination tray, spade, gloves, plant labels, and gardening craft. This kit is intended to help jump-start your spring & summer garden. Participants that enjoy this home gardening kit will be encouraged to also register for the South Carolina 4-H Small Garden project. Kit Pick up (No Shipping Available) To be garunteed a kit please place your order by March 12th. Spartanburg County will hold kit pick up Wednesday, March 17th from 9 AM - 1PM. Other pickup arrangements can be made ahead of the 17th. Cherokee County participants will be contacted by Laura Haddon to arrange for pickup or delivery.
