Pest Proof is in search of an experienced technician to: Perform Pest Control treatments and evaluations at customer's homes using an IPM approach. Performs Inspections for new customer's and makes recommendations on preventive maintenance. Performing animal removal and exclusions. Responsibilities Maintain a high standard of customer service. Adopting safe habits and practices using them while in the field. Ability to safely set up a ladder, comfortable climbing onto a roof with the proper equipment. Performing exclusion services. Maintaining an active pesticide license and wildlife permit. Driving a company vehicle safely. Maintaining a company vehicle and the equipment provided. Maintaining knowledge of regulations regarding animal control and pesticide applications. Experience Requirements High School Diploma or GED At least 3 months in pest control, wildlife control or a related industry. Carpentry experience is not required but will be a plus. Skills Ability to conduct thorough inspections. Problem solving. Recording details of services and/or inspections via written correspondence. Ability to measure, draw graphs, add, subtract and multiply. Comfort with speaking to customers and helping them understand the full picture of their particular problem. Salary: $30,000.00 + commission.
