Press release from the City of Glendora: February 11, 2021 Nighttime Lane Closures for SoCal Gas NORTHBOUND LANES OF LONE HILL AVENUE FEBRUARY 14 - MARCH 26, 2021 DOWNLOAD THE OFFICIAL NOTICE NOTICE: CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY As part of the Foothill Gold Line light rail project's mainline construction, Southern California Gas Company (SoCal Gas) will be performing trenching operations for underground utility work on Lone Hill Ave. To perform this work, SoCal Gas will close two northbound lanes of Lone Hill Ave. nightly between Gladstone St. and Auto Centre Dr. in the city of Glendora. One northbound lane will remain open nightly with occasional full northbound lane closures. WHEN Sunday, February 14th and continuing nightly thru March 26th, Sunday (nights) thru Friday (mornings), 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM. WHERE Construction activities will take place in the northbound lanes of Lone Hill Ave. between Gladstone St. and Auto Centre Dr. One northbound lane will remain open nightly with occasional full northbound lane closures. WHAT TO EXPECT Typical noise from construction equipment will be produced near the active work zones such as light plants and construction vehicles. TRAFFIC ADVISORIESNightly: Two northbound lanes on Lone Hill Ave. from Gladstone St. to Auto Centre Dr. will be closed nightly. One northbound lane will remain open; however, all northbound lanes will be closed occasionally during the nights of March 3rd - March 8th.Restricted northbound access is expected nightly near the work zones, including pedestrian access.Access to businesses will be maintained at all times.WORK ZONE The red area in the map shows the work zones.
