STUDIO THURSDAYS I'm in my studio in town every Thursday from 11-6. Aside from coming in and shopping around at any time during those hours, you may book a chunk of my time here for free. Booking ahead of time allows you and I to open a rapport and discuss what we'll be doing while you're here, which allows me to prepare for your appointment, perhaps by gathering materials that aren't readily available at the studio, such as windows, metal, barn wood, etc. I've set up 30-minute slots at the top of every hour, and two between 5 and 6 pm. Use these slots to do the following: Make a mask: a short project where you can bring in your own vintage embroidered linens and make them into a mask. Basic cutting and sewing involved. I can sew it for you if need be, no problem! Work on a project: some projects take several hours in separate work sessions to complete. Book a series of 30-minute slots so that you progress on your project each week. This is ideal for painting a furniture piece, sewing a purse or making a custom sign. Place a custom order: meet with me to discuss the details for your custom order, dig through the stash to select the materials I'm to use on your order, help me select or lay out the artwork for your project, and pay a deposit on your custom order. Cast a piece of custom resin jewelry: consult with me on your cast resin jewelry piece(s). Bring me dried flowers or other items to cast in a piece of jewelry. Excellent for wedding or funeral flowers, things your children have collected and given you as gifts, etc. In this meeting, you can either tell me what you want and I will add it to my weekly casting schedule, OR you can do it yourself, from casting the resin to completing the finished piece using cool materials from my jewelry stash. If you decide to go this route, I suggest booking two slots: one to design your casting and pour, and the other to remove the casting from the mould and finish your piece.
