It's almost mid February, which means Valentine's Day is almost here. It also means Galentine's and Singles Awareness Day are right around the corner too. Invisibly used their RealTime Research tool to understand people's attitudes towards these February holidays and to learn about their plans. Not surprisingly, 47% of those surveyed said their Valentine's plans have been impacted by Covid.
Here's what Invisibly learned:
47% of those surveyed said their Valentine's plans have been impacted by Covid.40% don't plan to celebrate Valentines/Galentines or Singles Awareness Day this year.13% plan to go out and celebrate, despite Covid.11% opt to stay in and celebrate.6% will see their dates virtually.18% will spend the day with friends or family.As to which holiday people are celebrating most?37% plan to celebrate Valentine's Day.18% plan to celebrate Singles Awareness Day.Only 5% are celebrating Galentine's Day Could more people be celebrating Singles Awareness Day this year due to Covid? We know that Gen Z and Millennials are much more interested in Singles Awareness Day than their Gen X or Boomer counterparts.
Boomers are also more likely to go out and have their plans be unaffected more than any other generation surveyed.

In fact, Invisibly came the closest in accurately predicting the Presidential election results: FiveThirtyEight polls were off by 38 electoral votes. Invisibly was only off by 4 electoral votes.
