PERSONAL ASSISTANT/HOUSE MANAGER! Location: Los Angeles Schedule: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Mon-Fri with flexibility if needed on a weeknight or weekend for an event etc. Compensation: 70k-90k DOE (No higher at this time) + Discretionary bonus + Benefits after 3 months A warm and down to earth family in Los Angeles seeks a detailed and efficient personal assistant / house manager to supervise the daily operations of a busy household. Qualifications / Requirements: Trustworthy and discreet with the highest level of professionalism Kind, with strong interpersonal skills Good judgment Excellent communication skills Attention to detail, extremely organized and adept at managing many tasks at once Ability and willingness to take appropriate initiative Demonstrates a positive, team player attitude Driver’s license and clean driving record and background check Family and dog friendly Responsibilities include: Point person and management for all concerns of home and staff Assist with staff schedules and duties Help coordinate family schedule with staff responsibilities…(eg meals, guests, travel) Work kindly and effectively with grounds people, housekeeper and occasional chef Supervise housekeepers: offering a fresh pair of eyes for the orderliness and cleanliness of the home, ability to kindly convey requests and have high standards met, while always working with a team mentality Maintain calendar and schedule home maintenance, ensuring all areas of home and grounds are functioning at the highest level (plumbing/HVAC/generator/track quarterly utility and solar power use) Liaise with and supervise vendors, contractors, landscapers, from collection of bids through completion of job and payment Oversee property maintenance: ensure gardeners follow landscaping blueprint precisely. Every inch of the property is to be cared for and tended to. Must have a “no task is too big or too small” approach with regard to the gardens, as tasks range from cleaning pebbles out of drains, to seeing that the hedges are the right height, to verifying that security cameras remain unobstructed. Assist with planning and organizing events in the home Answering phones and daytime guest arrivals, help collect and sign for deliveries Process packages and some mail Assist with reservations, appointments and gift purchases Ensure various household errands are complied for the housekeeper and completed Tech savvy, Quicken experience, Expert digital filing Assist with certain budgets, check preparation and petty cash
