In our ongoing commitment to keep citizens and media informed, we've summarized the outcomes of a few key agenda items from today's Regular Meeting of the Reno City Council:
C.2.1, C.2.2., C.2.3 - Special Assessment District Creation Council approved the beginning of the process for the District's creation. The District allows for assessments to property owners to replace sidewalks and driveway approaches that meet that City's criteria for replacement. 160 parcels have been identified for assessments in the District. They will be in areas within street rehabilitation projects, near Stewart and the E. Taylor area, and the Roberts/Wilson area.
C.3- 0 Mayberry Drive Public Auction Council approved the high bid of $142,500.
C.4.1, C.4.2, C.4.3 - Echo Avenue Master Plan and Zoning Map Amendment Council approved the amendment process to change the zoning for the parcel from Public Facility to Multi-Family housing of 30 units per acre.
C.5 - The Canyons Zoning Map Introduction Council approved the introduction of a zoning map amendment for a Planned Unit Development of approximately 81 acres that would include residential and open space designations.
G.1.3 - Other Post-Employment Benefits Trust Fund Council appointed James Johns and Vicki Van Buren to the fund.
