Press release from the City of Cupertino: February 9, 2021 Cupertino Safe Routes to School has been considering the recommendation given by the national Safe Routes Partnership: to remove Enforcement from our local Framework of E's and to remove or reduce the role of the Sheriff's Office in the Cupertino Safe Routes program. We have appreciated the conversations we've had with our partners around the topic over the past months, and are moving to the next stage in the decision-making process: to gather written input from the community.
