Fire Protection Company looking for shop person/material handler. Prefer someone with a strong knowledge of shipping,receiving; keeping inventory but willing to train the right person. Position available immediately. Work vehicle will be provided when performing pick up and deliveries. Duties include: Keeping shops stocked with needed parts, shipping and receiving parts/materials, verifying shipments for accuracy, preparing and ordering needed parts/materials for technicians in field, delivering to jobsite's, process OTC orders, delivery of mail to other office's, keeping paper records of order's,shipments and deliveries. Management of our fleet vehicles including tracking of maintenance and repair services needed and scheduling appointments for these. Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs Flexible schedule. Hours will vary between 16-24/week, M-F between the hours of 8am-5pm. This position will require constant communication w/office and technicians so good communication skills are a must. Must have basic knowledge of pipe,fittings and hardware material. Valid Drivers License and clean driving record. Must provide a printout from DMV of driving record. Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
