MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Continuing a tradition of stellar academic achievement, Mountain Brook High School has produced 16 National Merit Finalists this year. All 16 of the MBHS students who achieved National Merit Semifinalist status were named finalists. The number of Semifinalists from each state is proportional to the state's percentage of the national total of graduating seniors. MBHS had more Semifinalists — and now has more Finalists — than any other high school in Alabama.
