We are looking Material Handlers to join our team. This position will be day shift, (with core working hours 6:00am - 3:30pm). Responsibilities: Reporting to the Production Supervisor. Key contributor to the overall efficiency of workstations; maintains effective and efficient processes of delivering and removing material from various work stations. Primary responsibility will be to stage the saws and deliver cut material from saws to the other work stations. Monitoring saws to ensure that product is ready for changeover in color, size etc. Maybe required to move finished product to pack and shipping. Keep isles and racking clean and tidy at all times; organize materials where possible. Follow Health and Safety policies and procedures; making sure that pre-op inspection is completed before operating forklift each day. Help with product delivery and management of materials as necessary. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Attention to detail is a must Reliable/Excellence attendance General understanding of material and product flow is an asset Strong understanding of colors and depths (3/4 vs 5/8) of product is essential Work safely and keep all areas neat and organized Able to work in a face paced environment and be able to multi-task Ability to work independently Ability to operate forklift proficiently Available to work extended hours
