Laundry Aide / Housekeeper Skilled Nursing Facility COVID Free Facility! Part Time 1:30 pm to 9:30 pm, must be available for Saturday or Sunday Immediate opening for an energetic, punctual, reliable individual. Prior laundry experience in a nursing home or hospital setting highly desirable but will train the right person. Your primary role will be as Laundry Aide but you will be cross trained to function as Housekeeper as needed. Must be able to work at least one weekend day. Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, and stand throughout your shift. Bella Vista Health Center is a 99-bed skilled nursing facility located in Lemon Grove. We are dedicated to providing top level care to our residents and a friendly, enjoyable work environment to out staff. Responsibilities and Duties Include: -Perform day-to-day laundry functions as assigned -Wash, fold, and distribute clothing and linens -Label resident's clothing -Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments -Ensure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manor -Adhere to all current regulations governing nursing facilities -Develop a friendly, helpful rapport with residents -Maintain the confidentiality and rights of all residents -Work as Housekeeper as needed Qualifications and Skills: -Minimum 8th grade level of education -Experience with commercial washers and dryers preferred -Have a strong work ethic -Must be of good character -Must be punctual and dependable -Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language required -Experience working in a Nursing Facility or hospital a plus -Attention to detail -Willingness to "go the extra mile" to provide exceptional customer service -Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such a weight a minimum distance of 50 feet You may apply in person at Bella Vista Health Center, 7922 Palm Street, Lemon Grove, CA 91945or by responding to this ad with your resume.
