Do you enjoy working with animals? Working outdoors? Working in a supportive progressive environment, with a team of like minded dog loving individuals? If so we would love to meet you. Dogs Dig It is one of Portland's most experienced Dog Daycare, Lodging and Grooming facilities. We are looking to hire some additional team members with previous experience working with dogs, managing dog play groups, leading games and monitoring play styles. Hours will vary and shifts are mostly M-F. Check us out at Dogsdigitpdx.com. Our NEW outdoor office area (COVID safe upgrade) allows for all of our pick up and drop offs to be outdoors, in a covered court yard and has plenty of space for social distancing. We are located in inner SE Portland and have a large indoor outdoor facility. Part time students encouraged to apply. We are looking for team members with the following skills. If interested please send us your resume, work availability and what interests you about working at Dogs Dig It. - Experience working with dogs in an off leash play group environment - Able to lift up to 30 pounds and can stand for 4 to 6 hours at a time - Previous animal care experience, boarding facility, vet care - let us know about volunteer experience too. - Attention to detail and ability to ask questions, takes direction and works independently - Can be part of a team, communicates needs, suggests solutions and can learn from a variety of people. - Knows how to clean, able to work independently, can maintain high standards and/or go above and beyond - Likes working in an environment that values initiative, communication skills, hard work and team work.
