KRC Builders, INC is looking for Subcontractors for the upcoming project for SHRA. Possible subcontracting trades are Cabinet, Millwork & Finish Carpentry, Drywall, Electrical, Framing & Rough Carpentry, Painting, and Plumbing. Bids will be due by Feb. 25th, 2021 and plans can be viewed through PlanetBids: This contract is subject to Federal Labor Standards, Calif. Labor Code including but not limited to Sections 1771, 1774, 1775, 1776, 1777.5, 1813 & 1815, compliance monitoring & enforcement by SHRA and the Calif. Dep. of Industrial Relations (DIR), affirmative action requirements, Section 3 Requirements of the HUD Act of 1968, the Davis-Bacon Act, and Minority & Women Owned Business Enterprise standards. This is a Public Works project. Per Calif. State Labor Code Section 1771.1 (a), a contractor shall bot be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, subject to the requirements of Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code, or engage in the performance of any contract for public work pursuant to Section 1725.5. Notwithstanding any other requirements (including federal labor requirements), this contract is subject to compliance monitoring & enforcement by the DIR.
