Asphalt & Sealcoat Maintenance Technician - Year Round Work

Monarch Investment a leader in the multifamily property industry, is seeking entry to experienced level Asphalt and Seal Coat Technicians willing to travel 75% - 100% of the time throughout our national portfolio for a permanent and full-time opportunity. This crew will perform various parking lot maintenance projects (seal coating, pothole repair, crack fill, striping, etc.) at Monarch owned locations in 21 states, so can be based in multiple locations. NO sales calls, marketing or other outreach. All work is for and on Monarch owned properties (no 3rd party work). In the off season, the year-round employee will perform general maintenance, painting, preventative maintenance, apartment make readies and other tasks at our properties at the direction of a team leader. Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Operate light and/or heavy-duty vehicles • Setting up and tearing down all equipment and materials • Operating, inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining all equipment and machinery • Monitoring and changing the oil on crew vehicles, belt tightening, etc., • Cleaning and preparing pavement for resurfacing • Sealcoating (brush or spraying) • Hot crack filling • Hand-working areas as needed where sealing machine is unable to reach • Trimming all edges around work area, cleaning cracks in pavement, prepping oil spots before resurfacing Assisting with work area barrier setup and take down Experience Needed: • Valid driver’s license • Willing to work non-routine hours; including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed and directed • Ability to spend 75-100% of their scheduled shifts outside and standing, walking, or otherwise physically maneuvering/working • Able to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, stoop, climb, reach, bend, lean, or lay down on potentially uneven surfaces • Able to push or lift weight of up to 100 pounds Compensation and Benefits Available: • Very competitive pay ($16.00/Hr) • $30.00 Per Diem each day worked (min of 4 hours) paid with regular wages • Annual reviews with the opportunity for a raise every year • 401k planning and pre-tax contributions including a matching component. • Amazing medical starting at $30.00 per check for a great, comprehensive plan. • Dental and Vision Insurance • Life and Disability Insurance • Paid Holidays • Paid Time Off, 1st Year = 80 Hours, 2-4 Years = 120 Hours, 5+ Years = 160 Hours • 20% off rent at any of our owned communities • Paid additional training/school • Tuition reimbursement program • Yearly anniversary gifts • Winter boot reimbursement program • FREE skiing at Monarch Mountain for your entire immediate household • Discount programs at partnered companies such as Verizon, Expedia, Office Depot and more EOE
