Description
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience asphalt, seal coating, and crack sealing.
Valid Driver's License with approved Motor Vehicle Record.
Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
Customer service skills to interact with sales and customers effectively.
Must be able to bend/kneel/stand/walk for long periods of time and able to lift/push/pull 50 pounds regularly.
Description and Responsibilities: Foreman will be expected to lead a crew and projects from start to finish with budget and time. You will be responsible for driving a company truck to and from job sites daily.
Manage daily schedules for crew and jobs.
Oversee the operation of a 2–3 employee crew on site.
Ability to handle multiple projects and duties to meet deadlines during busier season.
Effective communication with the customer.
Mentor and train new employees to build effective crew relationships and resolve internal job-related issues as they arise.
Model and enforce safety standards and policies to maintain safe worksites.
Ensure quality placement of asphalt according to job specifications and customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of proper use of seal coat and crack filing equipment and tools.
Ability to perform manual and strenuous labor.
Ability to operate and manage the use of equipment on job site.
Work outdoors while handling equipment and materials. Ability to withstand weather conditions.
Maintain and complete basic paperwork as needed for job sites.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Experience working in a foreman, lead, or supervisory role preferred.
CDL preferred but not required – Pay incentive available for valid CDL or willing to obtain CDL.
The mechanical ability to make small repairs to equipment or vehicles.
