OBJECTIVE: To provide: • Jobsite assistance to the Project Lead POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Strong organizational and communicational skills. A good understanding remodeling methods and techniques. The ability to interact well with subcontractors and clients. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Be to appointed job site or office on time and ready to work • Be honest and courteous to everyone you come in contact with. • Dress appropriately (company shirt and hat, clean pants, work boots preferred over tennis shoes). • Be able to understand written specifications. Also understand work orders, change orders, and all other carpentry related job documents. • Perform rough and finish carpentry to company’s standard of quality and according to the plans and specifications. Bring discrepancies and special conditions to the attention of the Project Lead. • Be able to lay out and install stud wall framing • Be able to install standard wall-hung cabinetry and accessories. • Be able to install pre-hung door units and windows. • Be able to install drywall and able to properly tape drywall sheathing • Be able to do simple repairs in painting/staining, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and flooring • Maintain a safe and clean jobsite. • Do not use any of the customers belongings including equipment and tools, phone, or cleaning supplies, • Do not smoke in close proximity to their home, • Do not under any circumstances leave cigarette butts on the property do not play loud and offensive music. Must have valid driver’s license, dependable transportation tool bag/pouch and all basic hand tools.
