Oiler/Lube Technician, Schmidt Construction Colorado Springs, CO, United States JOB DESCRIPTION The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Oiler/Lube Technician to work at our Schmidt Construction Castle Rock location. The Oiler/Lube Technician performs preventive maintenance and lubrication of all mobile equipment. We are a unique, 100-year-old family-owned company that transforms our recycled products into construction materials, lightweight aggregates, asphalt, cement, concrete, agricultural products, and more. We provide steel mill services, flame cutting and treatment, road building, logistics, laboratory testing, and a variety of other solutions for our customers. Responsibilities The Oiler/Lube Technician will: Lubricate and service mobile equipment Take and send oil samples Inspect vehicles for the purpose of identifying safety defects Make minor repairs to vehicles during preventive maintenance Provide general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe facility Requisition parts and supplies Keep records and reports Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Skills The ideal candidate will have: Basic knowledge of mobile equipment and lubrication points Basic math skills and computer skills General knowledge of the fleet operating systems Mechanical aptitude CDL Class B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement or ability to obtain within 90 days Ability to manipulate hand and power tools Ability to use and understand manuals Ability to read and write Knowledge of appropriate safety procedures Benefits Competitive pay Tuition Assistance/Reimbursement Comprehensive Benefit Plan Development Opportunities To Apply Please submit resume VOE, E-verify
