We are seeking shuttle drivers to work in the Worcester area. These are steady, local routes for employees of local hospitals. The shuttles bring staff from their parking area to their work location. we operate late model 14-passenger vehicles which do not require a CDL. Non-CDL drivers earn $14.50/hour to start. Applicants who already have a CDL earn $16.50/hour to start. Currently we are seeking drivers who can work part time hours, with the ability to build towards FT if so desired. Shifts are mainly splt shift 6am-9am and/pr 3pm-6pm. We can discuss other options as well. APPLY ONLINE - valetparkofamerica.com/employment Shuttle Driver- Job Description The job responsibilities of a Shuttle Driver may vary depending on the location that the employee is scheduled to work. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Greeting patrons in a polite manner and assisting them in any way we can Safely shuttling customers to various destinations Opening and closing doors for patrons Adhering to all traffic laws/signs to ensure the safest possible operation of our shuttles Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers. This includes radio contact with management, shuttle drivers and lot attendants Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet federal as well as company safety requirements Recording passenger counts and trip times Completing necessary paperwork involved in daily operations Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness Sanitizing shuttle in accordance with company policy Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management Complying with company procedures for shuttle operations License required: valid class D (Non-CDL) license in good standing Valid DOT Medical card also required. (We will pay for qualified applicants to obtain their medical card if necessary - simple DOT physical). Professional driving experience a plus. CORI checks and driving tests will be conducted.
