We are currently seeking General Laborers for our 1st and 2nd shift. We have immediate opening for a leading card manufacturer that develops, manufactures and distributes playing cards, board game boxes and various boxes for different products. Schedules Available: 5:30am -4:00pm - $11/hourly and 2nd shift 4:30pm-3:00am $12/hourly Monday-Saturday Essential Responsibilities: • Follow written and verbal instructions on how to insert the cards into the machine • Follow written and verbal instructions on how to stack the cards into the boxes • Follow written and verbal instructions on how to make the various boxes, remove the scraps from the edge of the cards and how to package the various games • Attention to detail, inspecting the products before packaging them/sending them to the finishing department • Watching the machine to ensure that the cards are cut and wrapped correctly • Ensuring that products are up to the clients standard before packaging them Additional Position Requirements: • Must be able to lift 20-40 lbs. repetitively • Must be able to wear a mask all day while working • Must have attention to detail • Must be able to work 6 days a week, 10 hour shifts when needed Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; bend; push; pull; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
