Good Times Restaurants, Inc. is on the lookout for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Handyman and Landscaper who gets satisfaction from getting the task done right the first time and has a sense of urgency. If you have a “do whatever it takes” mentality and enjoying working autonomously this may just be the kind of gig you can get behind. In this General Labor role your primary focus will be to make sure our facilities are maintained in order for our restaurant operators to keep things clean, up to health department standards and looking fresh. Good Times Restaurants, Inc. owns, operates, franchises and/or licenses Good Times Burgers and Frozen Custard and Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar. Good Times Burgers currently has 30 operating locations homegrown in Colorado. Bad Daddy’s currently has 39 locations throughout Colorado, Oklahoma and all over the Southeast. You will support the Colorado Good Times and Bad Daddy’s restaurant locations. Our company is made up of a group of folks who really balance getting their work done with some good laughs and comradery in between. Each individual takes ownership of their responsibilities, but feels they are a part of something bigger. So, what will keep you busy? Be the go-to for our restaurant operators when they need support by: • Keeping the outside of our buildings looking fresh by working your groundskeeping and landscaping magic. • Using the amazing skills you have by removing, replacing and maintaining tile and grout, repairing carpentry, drywall and fiber reinforced plastic and supporting with minor plumbing repairs. • Periodically paint our buildings and signage (keep everything looking top notch). • Keeping worktables and sinks siliconed and up to health department cleanability standards. • Maintaining light fixtures and changing filters. What we expect from you? • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in maintenance or construction. Restaurant experience is a plus. • General Handyman skills (you feel very comfortable with a power tool in your hand). • Carpentry, tile, plumbing and/or electrical certifications are a plus. • You are comfortable with someone running a criminal, motor vehicle and employment verification for a background check on you. Proof of car insurance is required with a clean driving record. • You are able to pass a drug test. • You enjoy working autonomously with minimal supervision to complete tasks promptly. We can trust you with this because of your integrity, sense of urgency and willingness to do whatever it takes to do it right. • You demonstrate an ability to interact with restaurant operators in a pleasant manner. • 40 to 50-hour work weeks with the ability to work evenings/overnight and occasionally on weekends. • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and climb on ladders (you have the ability to be quite physical and active). • Ability to work in all weather conditions (cold weather doesn’t bother you in any way…). • High School Diploma/GED is preferred.
