is currently seeking in our Eaton, Ohio location.   $5000.00 Bonus for new hires! We are at the leading edge of technology for the automotive and industrial markets.  Our focus is on creating products that go into the cars we drive every day, including value-added, precision steel components for transmissions, engines and steering systems.  Multiple positions available on either afternoon shift (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM) or midnight shift (11:00 PM to 7:30 AM).  This is not a day shift position. (Shift differential offered) We are experiencing growth, and need Machine Operators and CNC Machinists in our Climate Controlled Plant in Eaton. As a Machine Operator / CNC Machinist, you will: Learn CNC machining processes, procedures, and production skills to ensure accuracy and consistency of our product to meet customer needs.   Following plant safety standards. Performs daily production and production related tasks with a high emphasis on quality. Monitors and adjusts CNC machinery as required; conducts quality checks as outlined in process control plans and work instructions. Become familiar with specifications, document control processes and/or work instructions to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence or operations and setup requirements, and verifies conformance of finished work piece. Setup, start, observe, and operate conventional, special purpose and numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers in accordance with the work instructions and all other standard work documentation, adjusting controls and control media as required. Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input or edict computerized machine control media. Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on CNC machines. Records physical production, inventory changes, and completes all process control and quality documentation as required. Performs routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs of process problems and breakdowns. Recommends supports and helps implement plant continuous improvement projects and problem-solving efforts; develops an understanding of the plant's vision to meet business plan objectives. Load, unload, and inspect product. Conduct assigned housekeeping and quality tasks. Participates in plant teams. Works with a safety first mentality. Is flexible to work any shift assignment and overtime as needed.  May at times be required to run multiple machines as necessary. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. The ability to pass a background check Able to work a 2nd or 3rd shift Continuous standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, reaching and manual manipulation of parts. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.  Occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds  Preferred Requirements: High School Diploma or GED with two years of experience in manufacturing machining, preferably CNC machining. Pay: Hourly Rate Overtime potential 5% yearly bonus potential $ 5,000.00 first year hire bonus Physical Demands & Frequency Requirements: Continuous standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, reaching and manual manipulation of parts. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.  Occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds.
