Location: Portland, OR (97211) FT/PT Status:Full Time Shift: Day Hourly Rate: Varies ($17.00 - $24.00) DOE United Salad Co. currently has openings for our Driving Team! Come join one of the largest independently owned regional produce distributors for over 80 years in the Pacific Northwest. We are seeking motivated drivers with Class A, B and C licensure. These positions qualify for a new hire bonus of $5000 - $10,000 depending on the class of license after meeting required eligibility. Responsibilities: - Deliver Product from warehouse to customer in a safe and timely manner - Stack, palletize, move, and organize product - Verify product against invoice and POs - Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers - Serve as customer liaison to promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude with co-workers - Other duties as assigned Job Qualifications: - Valid license (Class A, B, or C) with interstate qualification - 40+ hrs./week with two split days off - Must have weekend and holiday availability - Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen including THC - Ability to operate a manual stick shift - One year with 20,000 verifiable miles driven in specific licensure (Class A, B, or C) - Ability to lift: Class A up to 50 lbs. occasionally Class B up to 25 lbs. repeatedly, 50 lbs. occasionally Class C up to 50 – 75 lbs. repeatedly Benefits after meeting required eligibility: Medical / Dental / PTO / 401(k) To apply, please visit us on our to complete an application. *United Salad Co. is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.*
