Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience working in shipping in a warehouse environment
- Working knowledge of UPS, FedEx, and USPS procedures including UPS Worldship and FedEx Shipping Manager software.
- Schedule Freight, LTL, messenger services
- Packaging items for shipment, either in boxes or pallets
- Verify orders are complete and accurate
- Work overtime as needed
- High-School diploma or equivalent required
- Requires constant standing, walking, lifting, squatting, reaching
- Interaction with co-workers, vendors, and customers in a professional manner
You will be asked to work in other areas of the warehouse which will include the following tasks. Experience in these tasks is preferred.
- Picking merchandise from stock bins and shelves
- Receiving and unloading in-bound shipments
- Verifying contents of in-bound shipments
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on consistent basis
- Certified to operate forklift
Additional Skills a Plus:
- Computer Skills
- Knowledge of warehouse operating systems
- Data entry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
